| | My personal understanding of Breatharianism is that is it is more of a path to spiritual enlightenment. It isn't really about not eating anything. It has more to do with limited intake of food while depending on a spirit/god/force to provide you with the will to follow this path. Historically, people have fasted to gain spiritual wisdom. There are stories of yogis who survive living only on prana - the life force that surrounds us - usually felt through the breath. For me, being a Breatharian is a spiritual path and journey. You start slow - as a vegetarian, then move on to vegan diet, raw vegan, fruitarian, then only liquids until you only need a pure water, air & sun. Some spiritual practice is needed as well. I do yoga and I use yoga to control mind. But you can also do prayer - ask a God to guide you on your journey toward Breatharianism... Your mind is supposed to be your friend but in many cases, it's No.1 Enemy. People eat, eat, eat, drink, drink, drink, obsess, lie, cheat and then go and EAT some more... Why? No freaking' self-realization! I wan t live a decent, simple, clean, healthy, happy and peaceful life and the why I got on this path How about you?
